Tasting notes

A well-structured and noble wine, that rested French oak  barriques for 6 months to create a palette dominated by notes of mocha and dark chocolate. A full-bodied wine with fine tannins, with a mixture of woody aromas but also slightly fruity notes, revealing a balanced wine in aromas with an intense and long aftertaste.

Serving and food pairings

The recommended serving temperature is 16-18 degrees Celsius.

Rich bold-flavoured red meat dishes (beef, lamb, pork), as well as dark sauces, will pair excellently with red wine.

Harvesting & Winemaking

The grapes are hand-picked in cold mornings, in crates, then carefully selected on sorting tables. After cold maceration of the grapes, alcoholic fermentation follows by adding selected yeast.

• Age of vines: 15 years
• Soil: skeletal, with Sarmatian limestone parent rock, at shallow depth and with a high calcium carbonate content, which favors the production of aromatic wines
• Exposure: South, South-West
• Altitude: 300 m
